Hello, my name is Kaleigh Powers, Associate IIDA. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Professional Bachelor's Degree of Interior Architecture in May 2023. Throughout my time at the University of Tennessee, I discovered a passion for telling stories through design. In my professional career, I bring my passion for story telling into the design at any chance I get. Every space that we enter has a story already taking place or a new one waiting to be curated. Every element, form, and finish within a space plays a part of creating the story for a family in a home, a student at a school, an employee at a restaurant, or anyone interacting with any space. It is my goal that a client's needs are meet while every aspect of the design leads to the story that is or will take place in the space on every project I touch.
I have been working in the industry at a commercial architecture firm for the past year and a half, and I have completed and passed the IDFX. I am on track to complete my last two tests of the NCIDQ in the fall of 2025.
